A worked example with real numbers
A simple two-layer wall
Take a wall of 300 mm aerated concrete plus 50 mm of insulation. The calculator adds up the resistance of each layer, gives a total thermal resistance of about R = 3.5 m²·K/W, converts it into a U-value, and shows where the dew point sits — all with the intermediate steps, so the logic is clear.
