A worked example with real numbers
A house with a demand of about 9 kW
For a demand of around 9 kW the calculation puts a heat pump (with a conversion coefficient of 4.0) ahead on cost, followed by a condensing gas boiler, while direct electric heating is usually the most expensive. The exact order depends on the local prices you enter yourself.
